Abstract Submission Instructions
Submit Your Abstract
The deadline for submission of abstracts is 11:59pm Friday, December 7, 2007.
Members and non-members are encouraged to submit abstracts for presentation at the 2008 Annual Clinical Genetics Meeting. Abstracts may be accepted for poster presentation or platform presentation. Selections will be made after review by the Program Committee.
Guidelines
SUBMISSION
AND PRESENTATION
Please
read all instructions on the Abstract Submission website. There is no limit on
the number of abstracts an individual may submit. AN INDIVIDUAL MAY BE THE
PRESENTING AUTHOR ON ONLY ONE ABSTRACT. Abstracts should be submitted with the
intent that they will be presented, if selected. Do not submit an abstract if
you will not attend the meeting.
VERIFICATION
OF HIPAA AUTHORIZATION
Every
presenter must agree to one of the statements on the “Verification of HIPAA
Authorization” to be found on the web submission site. Abstracts cannot be
submitted without this verification of compliance.
FINANCIAL
DISCLOSURE
All
speakers participating in a CME certified activity are expected to disclose to
the activity audience any significant financial interest or other relationship
with the manufacturer(s) of any commercial products(s). The full text of the
disclosure appears on the website as part of the submission process.
REVISION
To
revise your abstract after submission, follow the instructions on the web site.
Revisions may be made through midnight of December 7, 2008. There will be no
exceptions to the revision deadline.
WITHDRAWAL
Abstracts
cannot be withdrawn after January 18, 2008 even at the request of the first
author and/or principal investigator.
PUBLICATION
Full
text of all abstracts selected for presentation and publication will be
available on the ACMG web site (www.acmgmeeting.net)
on or about February 1, 2008. These abstracts will also be published in the
Program and Abstracts book available at the meeting.

Travel Award
Signature Genomic Laboratories will present a travel award to the 2008 ACMG Annual Meeting for the first author of a selected platform presentation. The awardee must be a member of ACMG, a student, trainee, or junior faculty (instructor or assistant professor). Detailed information will be available on the Abstract Submission site once an abstract has been submitted.
