Welcome Reception

Fellows, Residents, Trainees and Students attending the ACMG meeting are invited to attend a welcome reception where you will have a chance to meet other young professionals and network with the ACMG Leadership.

Writing Your Manuscript: Practical Tips on How To Get Published
Wednesday, April 11
This session will provide an overview of writing and then preparing and submitting a manuscript to a scientific journal. The presenters are editors of American medical genetics journals, but their comments will be applicable to scientific publishing in general. Read more in the schedule.

Trainee/Mentor Lunch
Thursday, April 12
This luncheon will provide an opportunity for trainees (graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and clinical fellows) in the field of medical genetics to meet and talk informally with senior members of the College about career options, goals, and professional opportunities. Pre-registration required.

Special Student Session
Thursday, April 12
Careers in Medical Genetics - An Informational Session for Students and Trainees. An opportunity for college and university undergraduate students, graduate students and medical students to learn more about a career in Medical genetics. Pre-registration required.

Student Day
On Thursday, April 12, the meeting will welcome local undergraduate, graduate, genetic counseling and medical students and residents/fellows for a one-day opportunity to experience the ACMG Annual Clinical Genetics Meeting and learn more about career opportunities in the exciting and expanding field of clinical genetics and genomics.
