Hotel Reservations
PLEASE NOTE:
As of January 28, 2008 – the ACMG hotel room blocks are full at the Hyatt Regency (original contracted hotel) and the Wyndham Phoenix and the Hotel San Carlos (two additional properties secured by ACMG when reservation numbers climbed). As indicated in ACMG materials, the hotel blocks for the ACMG Annual Meeting do frequently sell out prior to the published cut off dates, and if that should occur – reservations are accepted on a space-and-rate available basis and may not be offered at the discounted group rate.
While there are typically cancellations at all the hotels (usually about 20% of the reservations made prior to the cut off are cancelled within the three week period prior to the meeting) they will no longer be at the ACMG discounted rate. We do suggest that you contact the various hotels prior to the various cut off dates (February 8 for the Hyatt, February 15 for the Wyndham and February 8 for the Hotel San Carlos) and if they have received cancellations, they will then have availability which may or may not be available at the ACMG discounted room rate.

HOTEL UPDATE - January 11, 2008
As of January 11 a block of rooms at a third hotel are available as noted below.
Hotel San Carlos
January 28, 2008 - The ACMG room block as well as the entire Hotel San Carlos sold out. If rooms become available they may no longer be offered at the ACMG discounted group rate.
ACMG has made arrangements for a block of additional hotel rooms at the Hotel San Carlos at a discounted rate of $169 single/double occupancy (plus occupancy tax - currently 12.27%). The hotel is located two blocks from the Convention Center.
Rooms will be available at the discounted group rate until February 8, 2008 or until the block has filled. After February 8 or if the room block should sell out prior to this date, reservations will be accepted on a space-and-rate available basis and may not be offered at the discounted group rate. This room block may sell out quickly, so reservations should be made as soon as possible.
Telephone reservations may be made at the Hotel San Carlos by calling the hotel directly at 866-253-4121 or 602-253-4121. Be sure to identify yourself as an ACMG Attendee to get the discounted rate. All reservations must be accompanied by a deposit of one-night's room/tax by major credit card.

Wyndham Phoenix
January 9, 2008 - Wyndham room block is sold out. Reservations are now being accepted on a space-and-rate available basis and
may not be offered at the ACMG discounted group rate.
ACMG has made arrangements for a block of additional hotel rooms at the Wyndham Phoenix at a rate of $199 single/double occupancy (plus occupancy tax - currently 12.27%). The hotel is located next to the Hyatt Regency – and one block from the Convention Center.
Rooms will be available at the discounted group rate until February 15, 2008 or until the block has filled. After February 15 or if the room block should sell out prior to this date, reservations will be accepted on a space-and-rate available basis and may not be offered at the discounted group rate. This room block may sell out quickly, so reservations should be made as soon as possible.

All reservations must be accompanied by a deposit of one-night's room/tax by major credit card, guest check or money order at the time of reservation.
Hyatt Regency Phoenix
The Hyatt Regency Phoenix will be the headquarter hotel for the 2008 Annual Clinical Genetics Meeting. A block of rooms has been reserved at a rate of $189 single/double occupancy and $214 triple/quad (plus occupancy tax - currently 12.07%).
Room block is sold out (December 5, 2007). Reservations are now being accepted on a space-and-rate available basis and may not be offered at the ACMG discounted group rate.
All reservations must be accompanied by a deposit of first night's room/tax or guaranteed by a major credit card. Reservations may be made by calling the Hyatt at (800) 233-1234 or (602) 252-1234 using the following reference code: "ACMG", or online.
