The Chandler Project is an independent non-profit organiztion 501(c)(3), dedicated to the most common form of dwarfism, achondroplasia (ACH) and other congenital abnormalities.
The second annual Achondroplasia Research Conference (ARC) presented by The Chandler Project, Inc., will be held Friday, May 22 through Sunday, May 24, 2020 (Memorial Day Weekend) in Chicago, Illinois.
This is the only conference in North America bringing together patients, caregivers, physicians and researchers to openly discuss the latest research and development on limb lengthening and pharmaceutical treatment options for achondroplasia.
Conference attendees will be educated on the latest pharmaceutical developments and orthopedic surgical advancements, such as limb lengthening, for the treatment of achondroplasia. Presentations from Pharma will begin Saturday (May 23, 2020) morning, followed by presentations from orthopedists specialized in achondroplasia in the afternoon. Saturday evening after the presentations, there will be a meet and greet social hour for all attendees followed by dinner. A free orthopedic clinic will be held throughout the weekend.
