The International Society for Prenatal Diagnosis (ISPD) is a multidisciplinary society with approximately 400 members in over 40 countries. The principal mission of the Society is to advance the science and practice of genetics and fetal care worldwide to promote the health of children, their mothers, and their families. ISPD holds an annual conference, publishes regular newsletters and offers membership in six special interest groups: Ethics, Fetal Therapy, Genetic Counseling, Imaging in Pregnancy, Laboratory Techniques, and Reproductive Screening.
