Sponsored Virtual Networking Evening Event Call for pricing and options

Application can be made online or via the printed Virtual Industry Solution Center application and Contract. . A 50% deposit is required at the time of application. Payments can be made via check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express). Companies applying online will be required to pay the deposit via credit card during application. Checks should be made payable to the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ACMG). Companies emailing or mailing the Virtual Industry Solution Center application will be invoiced for the deposit upon receipt. In order to remain PCI compliant, credit card information can be accepted online only and not via fax or email. Once accepted, companies will be invoiced for the balance due and payment will be due 10 days from invoice date, or no later than March 1, 2021. Full payment must accompany applications submitted after February 1, 2021.
ACMG reserves the right to determine acceptability of applications for Virtual Sponsorship Engagement Packages. The purpose of the ACMG Annual Clinical Genetics Meeting and the accompanying Industry Solution Center is to further the education of professionals working in the field of medical genetics and genomics.

ACMG reserves the right to accept or reject at its sole discretion any application to sponsor and to determine the eligibility of any proposed sponsor. Applications and proposed sponsors will be accepted or rejected based on criteria including but not limited to the products’ or services’ professional or educational benefit to the attendees and direct relation to the practice and advancement of genetics and genomics; products must be of an educational nature or provide practical application that emphasize instruments, products or services for use in teaching, research, treatment, or diagnosis; books or other publications in scientific fields of relevance to the interest of attendees; products or services consistent with the mission, purpose, and goals of ACMG.

ACMG reserves the right, without refund, to remove listings that reflect unfavorably on the character of the meeting.
 
No part of any virtual sponsorship may be reassigned, sublet or shared with another party. Sponsors may display information relating only to those products or services that they manufacture or regularly distribute. This information must be included on the Virtual Industry Solution Center application. Sharing of virtual sponsorship is permitted only for divisions of the same company.
Cancellations of participation in the Virtual Industry Solution Center, additional sponsorship/ advertising, Product Theater, etc., must be submitted in writing and received by ACMG at least 60 days prior to the meeting or no later than February 12, 2021. Cancellations received by that date will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. No refunds will be given for cancelled purchases less than 60 days prior to the meeting or after February 12, 2021.
Meeting Attendee List Scam Warning - Please Do Not Fall For This Scam
It has come to our attention that companies are contacting ACMG members, meeting attendees and exhibitors to offer them the ACMG Annual Meeting attendee mailing list. This, unfortunately, has become a more common occurrence for association annual meetings and trade shows in recent years and the practice is being monitored by the convention and meetings industry.

ACMG does not sell or give away attendee lists and email contact information. ACMG does not rent, share or sell attendee contact information to third parties. No third company is authorized to distribute or sell any lists for the meeting.

Scammers offering to sell these lists often aggregate information based on web crawler or email “scraper” programs searching for the “@” sign in an email addresses posted on various websites (including LinkedIn and Facebook). While this is illegal in most countries, it does not prevent scammers from doing so.

These offers constitute consumer fraud as the lists they are claiming to have are non-existent. Please do not engage with and/or acquire/purchase any list from any company claiming to have use of ACMG members or attendees contact information (or for any conference you attend), as it puts you and others contact information at risk. Often times, responding to these emails (even to “unsubscribe”) confirms to them that they have reached a valid email address.
