
Aishwarya Siddharth

Aishwarya is a senior genetic counselor at Boston Children's Hospital. Aishwarya received her master's degree in human genetics and genetic counseling from the Emory University in 2014. She received her certification from the American Board of Genetic Counseling in 2015. She completed her undergraduate studies in biotechnology and bioinformatics in India. Aishwarya is also the program coordinator for the BoLD lysosomal program and has been involved in development and management of program since joining the Boston Children's Hospital in March, 2015. Apart from providing clinical care and genetic counseling to our patients, she is also involved in clinical research projects that focus on patient outcomes research, aiding in novel therapeutics and natural history of rare disorders. Her special interest and focus is in identifying barriers in access to care among minority ethnicities as well as population genetics among the ethnically diverse populations.
