Graduated in Biological Sciences - Bachelor's Degree from UFRGS/Brazil. Academic exchange for the University of Alicante/Spain. Master's student in the Graduate Program in Genetics and Molecular Biology at UFRGS. Researcher in the Molecular Genetics Laboratory of the Medical Genetics Service of HCPA since 2018 with experience in genetics and molecular biology. Her research area is Human Genetics and Rare Diseases, with a focus on Inborn Errors of Metabolism. Currently conducts research in Newborn Screening and Spinal Muscular Atrophy. She has experience in performing molecular techniques such as DNA extraction to real-time qPCR, Sanger sequencing, MLPA and NGS.
