Dr. Amy Yuen, MD, PhD, is a clinical geneticist at Kaiser Permanente Washington in Seattle, Washington. She obtained her BA in biophysics at The Johns Hopkins University, followed by an PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology and an MD at the Medical College of Virginia. She pursued clinical training in Boston, first with a residency in pediatrics at the Massachusetts Hospital for Children and then followed by a residency in genetics at the Harvard Combined Training Program. While Medical Director at MultiCare/Mary Bridge Children's Hospital she received the MultiCare President's Award for Excellence in Clinical Outcomes and Quality for establishing the Spinal Muscular Atrophy Multidisciplinary Treatment Clinic. Dr. Yuen currently practices clinical genetics serving a diverse group of adult and pediatric patients, with special emphasis on pediatric neurodevelopmental disorders.
