Ankita Jhuraney, M.S., Ph.D. is the Lead Variant Review Scientist and 2025-2027 incoming LGG fellow at the University of Washington (UW) Genetics and Solid Tumors laboratory in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology located in Seattle, Washington. Prior to joining UW, Dr. Jhuraney was a Senior Genomic Variant Scientist and Oncology Variant Scientist at various commercial reference laboratories. Dr. Jhuraney has extensive experience in performing technical and clinical interpretation of next-generation sequencing data for both germline and somatic NGS assays in a CLIA lab setting. Dr. Jhuraney completed her PhD in Cancer Biology from the joint USF/Moffitt Cancer Center PhD program in Tampa, Florida and also holds Masters in Biotechnology from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and a Bachelors in Engineering from the University of Mumbai, India.
