David Burke

Professor, University of Michigan School of Medicine
David Burke is a Professor in the Department of Human Genetics and the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Michigan School of Medicine. He completed his PhD in the Department of Genetics at Washington University in St. Louis and was a Howard Hughes Medical Institute postdoctoral fellow at Princeton University. Dr. Burke has a research focus on complex genetics and late-life diseases, using both human and mouse model systems. He is also involved in developing and deploying inexpensive, quantitative, digital health monitoring systems in low-resource health care populations.
