Donna McDonald-McGinn, a Founding Board Member of the International 22q11.2 Foundation, which she and several parents established in 2003, directs the 22q Center, a pioneering leader in holistic care for individuals with 22q11.2DS at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She has spent her career supporting education, multidisciplinary care, and collaborative outcomes research, receiving the DiGeorge Medal of Honor in 2012 for global contributions to understanding 22q11.2DS. Named Chair of the 22q11.2 Society in 2019, she remains a tireless advocate for family support, spearheading multiple rhyming events including 22q at the Zoo, 22q and Boo, 22k for 22q and 2.2 for 22q.
