Erin Seibel

Genetic Counselor, Emory University School of Medicine
Erin Seibel is a licensed and board-certified pediatric hematology/oncology genetic counselor at the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. In her current role, she provides compassionate counseling and education to patients and families in the predisposition, solid tumor, and survivor clinics. Her clinical interests include harnessing genetic testing to enhance targeted surveillance strategies for childhood cancer survivors, aiming to improve long-term outcomes.

Erin is a dedicated advocate for enriching the lives of children and families impacted by cancer. She volunteers with Camp Sunshine, where she takes pride in contributing to summer camp experiences that bring joy and community to those navigating life during and after a cancer diagnosis.

A graduate of the Emory University School of Medicine Genetic Counseling Training Program, Erin maintains close ties with her alma mater by serving as a thesis mentor and clinical supervisor, fostering the next generation of genetic counselors.

Erin's commitment to integrating genetic insights into clinical care and her passion for supporting pediatric cancer patients make her a valuable member of the healthcare and scientific communities.
