Francis Rossignol

Dr. Rossignol is a clinical geneticist with an interest in inherited metabolic disorders. After medical school at the University of Sherbrooke, Canada, he trained in Medical Genetics and Genomics at University of Montreal, Canada, and became a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada in July 2018. He then continued his training in Medical Biochemical Genetics and Clinical Biochemical Genetics at the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) between 2018 and 2020 and subsequently obtained ABMGG board certification in both these subspecialties. He is now working as a Staff clinician for NHGRI, involved in the Undiagnosed Diseases Program as well as being the Principal Investigator for the protocol on Natural history of GNE myopathy and the co-Principal Investigator for the multi-center study of ManNAc in GNE myopathy (NeuroNext NN109).
