Howard Saal is a medical geneticist who completed his clinical genetics and clinical cytogenetics fellowships at the University of Washington School of Medicine in 1984. He has been a member of the Division of Human Genetics at Cincinnati Children's Medical Center for almost 30 years where he has been previously as Director of Clinical Genetic and Director of Cytogenetics. Currently Dr. Saal functions as the Director of the Cincinnati Children's Cleft and Craniofacial Center and the Skeletal Dysplasia Clinic. Dr. Saal is a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine has been active in clinical care, education and training and clinical research. He is the author or co-author on over 160 publications encompassing a broad range of human genetics topics.
