Andres Morales is a medical biochemical geneticist. Dr. Morales was a fellow at Stanford University, and is currently an Assistant Professor at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. His clinical research interests include fatty acid oxidation disorders, neurometabolic, neurogenetic disorders, and rare bone diseases. Throughout his career, he has been an avid collaborator in both clinical and research projects, in the US and internationally. One of Dr. Morales's goals is to raise awareness for genetic disorders through diverse educational projects in his home country of Guatemala, as well as his second home Indonesia.
