Jacklyn Omorodion

Attending Physician, Harvard Medical School/Instructor
Jacklyn Omorodion is an attending physician at Boston Children's Hospital in the Division of Genetics and Genomics where she sees a wide spectrum of patients with genetic conditions. She is also an Instructor in Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. Her primary research interest is in the ethical, legal, and social implications of rare disease management, specifically focusing on health disparities and inequities in clinical genetics.

She completed her undergraduate studies at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Honors Molecular Biology and Genetics. She attended The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, DC for medical school where she was in the Clinical and Translational Research Track. She completed her combined pediatrics and clinical genetics training as part of the Boston Combined Residency Program and the Harvard Medical School Genetics Training Program, respectively, and recently graduated in June 2023.
