I am the Neurogeneticist at Mayo Clinic, Florida campus. My background is Pediatric Neurology in India where I practiced for 7 years at a tertiary care academic institution in South India. I further completed Clinical Genomics residency at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, and moved down to the Florida campus as consultant. I established Neurogenetics Clinic at the campus and currently focus on adult neurometabolic disorders, mitochondrial disorders, congenital disorders of glycosylation, adult-onset leukodystrophies and Neurofibromatosis. I am the site Principal Investigator for Frontiers in Congenital Disorders of Glycosylation Consortium (FCDGC), Clinical and Basic Investigations into Congenital Disorders of Glycosylation, and Principal Investigator for Exploration of phenotypic and genotypic spectrum of GPI anchor Biosynthesis and Lipid glycosylation disorders. I also lead several clinical trials for Mitochondrial disorders and work with individualized therapeutics in rare genetic disorders including adult-onset leukodystrophies.
