Kestutis Micke is a genetic counselor at the Colorado Fetal Care Center at Children's Hospital Colorado. He also holds an academic appointment with the University of Colorado Obstetrics and Gynecology Department. Kestutis specializes in counseling families with fetal abnormalities detected on prenatal imaging. He chairs the center's Fetal Precision Medicine Board which identifies candidates for prenatal whole exome sequencing and reviews results, making recommendations for prenatal and postnatal follow up. Kestutis frequently collaborates with pediatric genetics colleagues to ensure prenatal to postnatal care is bridged. Kestutis has a strong interest in the utilization of genomic sequencing in fetal diagnosis and identification of rare disease. He earned his Master's Degree in Genetic Counseling at the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Genetics at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. Outside of clinic, Kestutis spends his time trying out new baking recipes and enjoys all forms of cycling.
