Genetic Counselor, Nemours Children's Hospital Delaware
Louise Amlie-Wolf, MS CGC, is a Licensed and Certified Genetic Counselor in Delaware working at Nemours A.I. duPont Hospital for Children. She has over 10 years of experience as a genetic counselor, with eight of those years working in pediatric genetics. She is one of several genetic counselors working in the Genetic Testing Stewardship Program, a unique Precision Medicine initiative providing genetic counseling services to non-genetics specialists. Ms. Amlie-Wolf also has been involved in several quality control and continuous improvement projects throughout the institution to help increase efficiency and reduce costs associated with genetic testing. She is a member of PLUGS (Patient-centered Laboratory Utilization Guidance Services) and recently published an article regarding the collaboration between the Genetic Testing Stewardship Program and Nephrology in the American Journal of Medical Genetics, as well as several other peer-reviewed articles. She is active in training genetic counseling students.
