St Jude Children's Research Hospital
I am an assistant professor of molecular pathology at the Department of Pathology at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. I am board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and molecular genetic pathology. As a pathologist and geneticist, my roles center on utilizing my expertise in diagnostic pathology and molecular genetics to enhance the detection of molecular biomarkers for the optimal diagnosis and management of pediatric cancer patients.

During my postdoctoral training in the Department of Molecular and Human Genetics at Baylor College of Medicine, at the laboratory of Dr. James R. Lupski, I was part of a team that discovered ten novel disease-gene associations and highlighted the importance of germline reanalysis for increasing the molecular diagnostic yield. My current research focuses on studying inherited cancer syndromes, improving the curation of somatic and germline genomic variants and the applications of artificial intelligence in clinical genomics.
