Nadia Merchant, M.D., is a board certified pediatric endocrinologist and geneticist at Children's National Hospital. She completed her genetics and pediatric endocrine training at Texas Children's Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Merchant's clinical research interests include bone health, growth disorders, skeletal dysplasias and intersection of genetics and endocrinology. She is involved in multiple multidisciplinary clinics as the endocrinologist: The Bone Health Program with Orthopaedics; the Muscular Dystrophy Clinic; the White Matter Clinic specifically for X-linked adrenoleukodystrophy; and the 22q clinic. She is passionate about maximizing a patient's potential. Her research is focused on precision medicine and academically working on improving endocrine care for children with complex conditions.
