Sarah H. Choi, MGCS, CGC is a research genetic counselor in the Neaman Center for Personalized Medicine at NorthShore University HealthSystem in Evanston, IL. As a research genetic counselor, Ms. Choi facilitates and manages various research projects related to implementation science, quality improvement and community engagement in the Center for Personalized Medicine. She plays a key role in collaborating with stakeholders and local communities to address barriers to genetic services and improve patient access to personalized care as well as patient outcome. She additionally oversees the Return-of Results program for a genomic research study, where participants are re-contacted regarding their clinically actionable research results. Ms. Choi received her bachelor of science in biochemistry and cell biology at the University of California, San Diego and her master's in genetic counseling at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health. She is board-certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling.
