Sarah Young

Sarah Young is Co-Director of the Duke Biochemical Genetics Lab and a professor in the Division of Medical Genetics, Department of Pediatrics, Duke School of Medicine. She obtained her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Biochemistry from Manchester University and the Institute of Child Health, UCL, respectively. She joined the Duke Biochemical Genetics Lab in 1999 to pursue a post-doctoral position and then completed a fellowship in clinical biochemical genetics. Her main research interest is the development and clinical application of biomarker assays for inherited disorders of metabolism.
