
Sherin Shaaban

Dr. Shaaban is an Assistant Professor of Pathology at the University of Utah School of Medicine, and the Medical Director of Pharmacogenomics and Molecular Genetics at ARUP. She graduated from Mansoura University Medical School in Egypt, then obtained her PhD in Human Genetics at the Graduate School of Medicine Dentistry and Pharmaceutical Science at Okayama University in Japan . After a few years as a genetics research fellow at Harvard Medical School and Boston Children's Hospital, she went on to finish a clinical molecular genetics fellowship at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Department of Genetics and Genomics.
Dr. Shaaban is board certified by American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics and is a fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics
