Originally from India, Shruti Shenbagam is an American board-certified genetic counselor. She earned her Master's in Genetic Counseling from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 2017. Following her graduation, she served as a prenatal and pediatric genetic counselor at Valley Children's Hospital, California. Shruti then ventured into freelance genetic counseling by collaborating with both North American and Indian companies. Shruti took the next step in her career journey by joining Al Jalila Children's Hospital in Dubai as a pediatric and laboratory genetic counselor. Shruti also serves as Adjunct Faculty at Boise State University in Idaho.

Shruti loves travelling, spending time with her friends and family and tries to maintain a balance between binging movies, TV shows and being active outdoors.
