Tyler Singer is a second-year medical student at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. While in medical school, Tyler has conducted research with the Geisinger MyCode program focusing on population genetic screening. This experience has provided valuable insight into the clinical implications of genetic screening, variant interpretation, and biostatistics which will inform his future practice regardless of specialty.
