Dr. Whitney Thompson is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Medical Genetics, and she is currently a dual clinical fellow in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and Medical Genetics at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She holds positions in Mayo Clinic's Clinician Investigator Training Program through the Mayo Center for Individualized Medicine, as well as the Biomedical Ethics Scholars Training Program. Prior to medical school, Dr. Thompson completed an M.Phil degree in Medical Genetics at the University of Cambridge. Her clinical and research interests lie at the intersection of genomics, ethics, and neonatal intensive care.
