LGG Fellow, New York Prebysterian Hospital
I am a Laboratory Genetics and Genomics Fellow from Columbia University Irving Medical Center. I obtained my Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at SUNY Upstate Medical University and three years of postdoctoral training in Molecular and Human Genetics at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM). Before starting the LGG training, I worked for five years as a bioinformatician in a CLIA/CAP-certified laboratory at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine (JAX). Through years in the field, I gained hands-on experience in genetics technologies and bioinformatics skills in a clinical laboratory environment. I have also actively participated in gene curation in the ClinGen ID/Autism workgroup for over six years.
