Andres Corado is a biochemical geneticist and Assistant Professor at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. His clinical and research interests encompass fatty acid oxidation disorders, mitochondrial, neurometabolic and neurogenetic disorders. Throughout his career, he has been an avid collaborator in various projects, including natural history and therapeutic studies for IMDs. One of Dr. Corado's goals is to raise awareness for genetic disorders through diverse educational projects in his home countries, Guatemala and Indonesia.
