Dr. Vora is a Professor in the Department of Ob/Gyn and Genetics at UNC-Chapel Hill with triple board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and Clinical Genetics. She has extensive experience in implementation of new prenatal technologies given her positions as Director of Reproductive Genetics at UNC-Chapel Hill and board member of the International Society of Prenatal Diagnosis. She has NIH funded grants to perform whole exome and genome sequencing on anomalous fetuses as well as a grant to identify novel genes critical to human brain development. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals related to prenatal genetics, with over 85 peer reviewed publications.
